Wellness and Recovery Journaling (Interactive Journaling)

Interactive Journaling is a structured and experiential writing process that motivates and guides participants toward positive life change. Interactive Journaling encompasses elements from the Transtheoretical Model of Change (TMC) and Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET). During the two-day, training, participants identify evidence-based features of Interactive Journaling and prepare to implement the curricula in their service delivery, including case planning, documentation, individual and group sessions. Attendees are eligible for 13 CEUs.
Who Should Attend: The facilitator training is open to Adult Felony Drug Court treatment providers.
Court programs should agree to implement the curriculum within 60 days of the facilitator receiving certification.
A room block is available for this training. Lunch and breakfast are provided. Mileage and non provided meals (dinner for overnight guests) are reimbursable for attendees.
How To Register:
Program Coordinators should complete the required training MOU below for their courts attendees and submit registration using the GREEN button on the right side of the webpage. .
One (1) person per court program is allowed to attend.
If additional space is available, circuit programs may register two attendees.
After registration ends, an attendance confirmation email will be sent to the program coordinator and attendee.
CACJ will provide the participant workbooks to facilitate the curriculum.
