Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Substance Abuse (CBI-SA) Training Booster

Training Description:

CBI-SA integrates the core components of any cognitive behavioral intervention with a focus on substance abuse. The curriculum places heavy emphasis on skill-building activities to assist with cognitive, social, emotional, and coping skill development. 


This one day training will provide a refresher to current CBI - SA facilitators. Attendees will have an opportunity to trouble shoot common challenges with a trainer and boost their current knowledge of the CBI-SA curriculum. 


Who Should Attend: Treatment Providers

This training session is for treatment providers currently trained in the CBI -SA curriculum to enhance skills.   Courts are only able to register  one attendee for this training.  Attendees must arrive on time and remain at the entire training for successful completion. 


Breakfast and lunch are provided for attendees. 

Overnight accommodations for attendees traveling 50 miles or more (one way) from the training venue  are also provided. Mileage and non provided meals are reimbursable through the SER according to the State of Georgia travel policy. 



How To Register:

  • Program Coordinators should download the "Certified Training MOU" document.
  • Review the document with the proposed registered attendee and obtain all signatures required.  
  • Register the attendee with the GREEN registration button on the right side of web page. 
  • Upload a copy of the attendee's CBI -SA facilitator's certificate at the time of training registration. 
  • Registration is not complete until the facilitator's certificate and training MOU are submitted. 

**CACJ Staff does not have access to the facilitator's certificate**
