Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Substance Abusers (CBI-SA) Training
Training Dates: April 6-8, 2020

CBI-SA integrates the core components of any cognitive behavioral intervention with a focus on substance abuse. The curriculum places heavy emphasis on skill-building activities to assist with cognitive, social, emotional, and coping skill development.

This training session is for courts that do not have a CBI-SA facilitator. We have a very limited number of slots. Courts are only able to register one treatment provider for this training. The registered attendee must be the primary person for administering the curriculum. CACJ will not provide hotel accommodations for this training for an attendee residing 50 miles or more from the training location. Attendees are able to be reimbursed based on State Accounting Office Policy. The training also offers CEU's. Attendees must be attend all three days to obtain certification to facilitate the curriculum and a certificate of attendance.
How To Register:
Program Coordinators should download the "certified training MOU" document below. Review the document with the proposed registered attendee and obtain all signatures required. Once document is signed, court coordinators may register the attendee using the GREEN registration button on the right side of this web page. Once registration ends, a registration confirmation email will be sent to coordinators to forward to their registered team members.
CACJ does not have a room block for this training and CACJ will not provide meals at this training.
Attendee meals, mileage, and overnight accommodations are reimbursable through the CACJ Accountability Court Grant SER. Directions to the training location and parking options will be forwarded to attendees before the training event.
If attendee’s are more than 10 minutes late daily they will not be certified.
