Please note the following information:

  • Accountability Court Coordinators are primary contact for all trainings. Coordinators will receive all registration announcements. They will be responsible for registering team members to training, coordinating lodging reservations (if applicable to court), taking care of travel reimbursements, and providing detailed training instructions to the registered attendee.

  • Registration announcements will typically be released two months prior to the training date via the Coordinator Intranet and the CACJ mail chimp list. Once announced, the registration link will be posted on the CACJ website.






Training Details and Descriptions


Adult Felony Drug and Family Treatment Court Operational Tune Up Training (excluding DUI courts):

Courts must be operational for at least three (3) years, have not received a tune – up training with NDCI within the last three years

Court Coordinators must complete a Notice of Intent to attend the training at time of registration.  Must have commitment from all team members to attend. 


DUI Court Operational Tune Up:

Courts must be operational for at least 3 years, and have not received a tune - up training with NCDC within the last 3 years. 

Courts Coordinators must complete a Notice of Intent to attend the training at the time of registration. Must have a commitment from all team members to attend. 


Rethinking Court Responses: Incentives and Sanctions

This training will:

  • Teach the principles relevant to behavioral management and change and techniques for transferring those principles to the treatment court context
  • Develop the requisite skills to effectively deliver court responses to behavior

This workshop is designed for adult accountability court teams to include:

  • Adult Felony Drug Court 
  • DUI Court
  • Veteran Treatment Court

Must have commitment from all team members to attend. 


Family Treatment Court Planning Initiative: Implementation Training (DCPI):  this training is specific to new FTC’s as of July 1, 2018. To attend, courts must complete a notice of intent and have commitment from all team members.


Mental Health Court Start Up: Implementation training specific to new adult MHC's as of July 1, 2018. To attend, courts must complete a notice of intent and have commitment from all team members. 


LSIR-R Training: This training will focus on how to administer the assessment. It is for team members who are responsible for administering the tool to participants. 


Short Term Assessment of Risk and Treatability:  This training will cover START.  A concise clinical guide for the assessment of short-term risk for violence and treatability.


Evidence – Based Practice Training

(CBI-SA, MRT, T4C, and TREM) all have limited space and space is reserved exclusively for treatment providers. 

Treatment providers must provide direct services to your participants and conduct the evidence based group sessions.

Court Coordinators must submit an MOU to CACJ at the time of registering with the signature of the Treatment Provider, Coordinator and Judge. The MOU document will be released with the training registration announcement.

New Coordinator Orientation Training – This training is specific to new Coordinators. Training will include information on CACJ, team member roles & responsibilities, fiscal and program reporting. 


Coordinator Winter Training Form – This training is open to all Coordinators and will include a more in-depth discussion on various topics.
